Paul Mallard - Tuesday 20 July - Keswick Convention 2021 - Continued study in Philippians

Paul wrote the letter to the Philippians while he was in lockdown – imprisoned in Rome and awaiting trial before Nero. Yet his letter brims over with gratitude as he rejoices in the abundant blessings poured into his life by a faithful God. The Gospel – a faithful message – Philippians 1:12-30 In spite of his imprisonment, Paul rejoices that the gospel continues to bear fruit. God is faithful and will cause his gospel to prosper. Paul is confident that this faithful God will protect and keep him whatever lies ahead. Do we share Paul’s confidence in the gospel? Do we long for Christ? How does the gospel transform our understanding of the future?
